As a self-confessed Joomla! addict, I run the Joomla User Group Sydney (JUG) and have been the co-ordinator of several Joomla!Day Australia Sydney conferences. I have a day job in IT, and in my spare time I develop Joomla extensions (when my kids let me). I'm also the author of Learning Joomla! 3 Extension Development published by Packt Publishing in July 2013.

This blog is a place for me to talk about anything that interests me, it might not be all about Joomla (although I suspect much of it will be).

If you want to get in touch, feel free to stalk me on the various social media links on the right of this site, or drop me an email via the contact form.

    Hi Tim,

I took a quick look at your tutorial and it looks very comprehensive.

I am having issues integrating Joomla 2.5 with AD, my developer has been trying for 2 months with JMapMyLDAP, but so far he has been unable to connect.

Everywhere I read that this component works well, so I don't think it's the component.

Do you do consultancy work at All?

    Regards

  • Hi Jon,
I don't have a lot of available free time at the moment, but send me an email with more details and I'll see what I can do.

  • Hi Jon,
I've unpublished your comment as you probably don't want IP addresses and passwords publically visible. As I said, send me an email and we can discuss. I'm on a beach holiday this week so probably wont be able to look at anything until next week.

    regards
